Staying Together

It is 2.15 am ... I m reluctant to sleep as I rarely have TIME to enjoy listening to songs and write a few lines of my thoughts. Yeah, my mind is fully occupied by INVESTMENTS idea.

I read 'Malaysian Today" -given free in our school- about youth staying together before married. It is very common but majority of parents will still dis-approve of such an activity. It is so-called immoral.

To the hypocrites out there, be open minded. We are in 2009 now, it is about time we accept things as it is --- good or bad --- we need to change and adapt.

What is so wrong of 'staying together'? Most of these youth experiencing sex much earlier these days and the relationship WONT last if it is sex-based, anyway. So, why argue with the youth and restrain them of such activities? Tell you something ... they will do whatever at the back of you, anyway. Serious ... the so-called control that parents what to hold on their grown-up kids will only backfire. They will re-taliate ... they will lie and wont be open to you.

I m not saying 'staying together' is right, either. What I m pointing is that we should teach our kids VALUES when they are young, and they HAVE BRAINS ... they will do what they FEEL right, and screaming on top of your voices will not change anything.

Should youth 'stay together' before married? Is it wrong?
