These two are occupying my mind for the past few days. Hmm ... both will give me substantial profits but I m spoilt with choices due to my vast readings and knowledge. At times, being ignorant is a bliss? Like those majority around me, they don't have to use much of their brains. They dont have to think of investing and grow their wealth.
Anyway, I can't decide. Now, majority investors(a small friction of our population, actually) will go for gold as a hedge against inflation(which is inevitable, going at the rate FED and BOE printing of monies). Going at the current rate, gold will be possible to breach USD1000 level sooner or later, and hence gold-related investments could reap huge profits. That is quite a cretain.
But, as I read a lot about "Energy and Power", I find coal-mining stocks as very attractive. Yes, the arang-batu ... the main source of energy in US and China. So, assuming I m going for coal instead of Gold, then I have 5 choices in my coal-mining stocks. Which particualr one should I buy? I m still unsure ... tho ALL will surely(95% confidence interval placed) benefit.
When we are spoilt with choices, we will be in dilemma(is the spelling right?). I have Jane, June, Jine, Jene or Jone to choose from ... all are as pretty. Which one will be my choice?
That explains why I m a 'simple' person ... wanting my life as simple as possible. I simply do not know how to choose from choices. If u give me 5 cards with 5 colours and ask me to choose ONE, I will be in stress. I will choose it RANDOMLY. If you give me 2 colleges to choose from(to teach), I really don't know. Some will look at salary, conditions etc etc ... but these are TOO STRESSFUL for me to handle. So, I might end up flipping a coin!!
In short, I really dont see the difference between a chicken-rice and wan-tan-mee. At Inti, I can take ONE dish(the chicken rice at a coffee-shop) for past 5 years there and all my colleagues wonder what is so special about that chicken rice??! I just said I like it(which is half truth) ... as I dont see using my brain to choose what else to eat? At current school now, I m 'more' flexible tho I will surely go to the uncle stall and have the honey-chicken rice. I could stick to it for another 5 years?
Well ... back to coal ... YanZhao Coal, China Coal and Dynamic Energy to choose from. All with PE lower than 10 and still at very attractive values. Should I choose Dynamic Energy as it didnt have 'coal' attached to its name? So, it should move higher, right? Hmm ... hey, finally I broke the code and YES, buying Dynamic on Monday!! Phew .. finally, by blogging here, my mind cleared!! Hehe ... will buy RM10k for the beginning. OK.
