SPM results out ... every year we will hear many jump up, full with joys of getting straight "A"s and many more feel sad not obtaining better results. It is a routine for a person like me who is in education line. Students come ... students go. I hv seen many straight "A"s students in my 19yrs of teaching, and also many more students who failed (and tried to hide from their teachers/lecturers). To me, I m never really excited about Exams results, realising that it is only being used as a PASSPORT to further our studies.
STUDIES? Degrees and Masters? Pursuing for PhD if you have nothing much to do(or accomplish) in your life? Sure ... you will be termed as EDUCATED. Call me Dr TEH, I m a PhD holder, you know. Do they really STUDY simply because of the love of EDUCATION? I mean ... say, I love Maths(I do till today, ok?) ... is it necessary to get a degree in Maths??! Answer : YES because the society SEES only degree-holder and above as educated!! Hey, don't be dumb ... many MATHS grads DO NOT teach Maths, and also those teaching Maths doesnt mean they are GOOD in whatever they are teaching, ok? Get REAL.
Anyway, for those permanent-head-damaged holders, SURELY they LOVE Maths, right? Haha ... I want to be cynical about the pure stupidity of my society ... but again, I m RESTRICTED in my OWN personal blog!! WHY? Simply because some 'busybody' reading my blog and get 'hurt' being branded as stupid? Err ... he/she is part of society and doing exactly what I m saying, and THOUGHT i m refering to him/her? See how naive and stupid our well-educated society could be? I wonder whether these Menteris/House Rep passed their SPM? Where do they graduate from again? Cow-dung heads leading our country and we have more people going into streets. How about using RAKYAT money for their own political agenda? That is our sorry state of Malaysia's governance. We should be worried to be lead by these leaders. We are at their mercy.
SPM ... when are they going to abolish SPM? They are currently arguing about English being used in Maths/Science. That is HOW LOW our politicians could go ... everything being used to THEIR political struggles/advantages. We, RAKYAT are sick of such instabilities. When are they going to expose more of those nude-pictures of more politicians OR how about using a granite to blow some shit-off? Don't worry ... I don't hhave the freedom to write ...
Not to write about the TRUTH about my pathetic well-educated society, opine on SPM or sure ISA will be used against those speak TRUTH about our ever-clean politicians, right? Ask Menteri Sarawak how much he used to build the white palace beside the river, Sg Sarawak? Don't you dare to ask our Menteri Sabah about corruptions, ok? Sabah is clean from $$$-politics.
You don't need to go far searching for these people .. go to Parliment!! We will have those Datuk/Datuk Seri shouting HYPOCRITEly about they are protecting RAKYAT's interests. Haha. Full of bull-shits. Period.

Blood Donation
Well, we have our yearly Blood Donation campaign on today and tomorrow. So, if u forgot to bring your blood today, you may bring it tmr and donate, ya.
As usual, I donated ... that explains WHY I m so thin, ok? I donated twice or thrice a year, u know. It is slightly better for me as they have it from 2pm to 8pm. So, I could go around 6.30pm where there are less crowd(almost none?).
I spoken to two Indian girls who 'attended' to me ... trying to make donors feeling calm and safe? Haha ... they are doing a good job, indeed. hehe ... You see, there are NOT many Indians in Sabah ... so, it is surprising if you could find TWO speaking to u!! They mentioned the loss of Indian culture in their community and how they feel about it. These days 'educated' Indians seldom speak Tamil(or other dialects) with their kids. So, maany youngsters could not speak their mother-tongue!! Ask a Kadazan kid who is studying in our school to speak his/her mother-tongue, chance is that he/she can't utter much.
Anyway ... nice to see blood flowing out!! Gushhh ... haha. We are given a nice 'pax-gift' as appreciation. Not bad.
I have helped in so many NGOs in their campaign(blood donation is one of them) ... and seeing our students helping out till 8pm, that reminds me of my 'younger' times. :-)

Morning ... special morning to Regina(take care there, gal) and Didi(where is my coffee-bean), my loyal audience who responded, making me NOT feeling lonely here!! LOL.
Ok ... I m too busy with my Trading Blog as markets moving down la. But, my mood not down except for tonnes of papers to mark with exams nearing.
Yes, this morning song is one of my fav ... it is so beautifully written but it is no so popular? I hv played this particular song hundreds of time, tho I hv his whole album. Haha. I remembered I placed this youtube at IS forum before. Hehe ... what life will be without songs and music, I wondered.
On Friday night, I attended(reluctantly, of coz ... I dislike so called socialising) Rotary's International Night. As I was sitting with my Rotaract president and her vice, they were asking if I attended any concerts before!! Err ... of coz! Haha. Then, I mentioned I like groups/bands ... like Linkin Park, Coldplay, Breaking Benjamin ... etc etc ... they won't believe!! Haha. And if I say I do listen to many chinese singers/songs, I think many won't believe too as I m a 'banana'? Haha ... Songs .. yes, you can talk for ours with me about that. It is one of closest to my heart ...
I think I could name 100 bands(mostly males) easily which in my playlist. I remembered during Leadership Camp in 2008, I played "Stop&Stare" but Malaysians started to listen to "Apologise"? I no longer 'chase' the songs ... as currently my main topics are FINANCES and INVESTMENTS. Once I m better off financially, I will get myself into the bands in KL!! I want to play the drums, again. Hehe. To make dreams come through, we need to plan ... and know our direction. I m NOT going to wake-up my surrounding again.
Yes, I will enjoy very much going back to NGOs in KL ... doing something close to my heart, without worrying about MONEY. I will still teach Maths for pleasure, for free to kids who need it. That is what I m going to do ... before I leave Malaysia, for good. I m so excited. But, at the moment I will continue to enjoy my 'struggle' with my teaching and wealth accumulation.

Well, today is the election day in our school. I casted my vote. Shhh .,..
By-elections will be on in few seats, the monkeys in Perak still fighting for the silver-hair. Hey, monkey-politicians, you can have my grey-hairs, ok? Haha.
Liverpool is LUCKY to escape with a win against Pompey. MU too strong for them. No prize for the second place. But the victory over Chelsea showing that they are good and more confident this season. May be next year they could deliver ...

This what I will want to share this morning, after listeniing to our pastor trying(very hard, indeed) his best to clarify WHAT prayers meant. PRAYERS are a relationship with GOD. That is his point. My brothers/siisters, are you listening? DO you REALLY understand the meaning and WILL we look into ourselves to seeking for the meaning of PRAYERS?
I m not going to point it out as some Christians will be JUGDEMENTAL again, and in the event of defending themselves, they might asked me a question(again) "Are you BAPTISED?". It is like being a Maths teacher and you speak about a FINANCIAL concept(go to my http://www.cpteh.blogspot/ if you want to discuss about Economics, Investments and Finances), and people will QUESTION you "Are you are ECONOMICS or FINANCE graduates? MBA? PhD?". So, we could not further our discussion due to their narrow-mindedness.
Pastor made it clear ... we are praying to GOD, not for others(human) to know. We pray with HEART, spiritually ... not with out MOUTH, physically. Until you could understand the WHOLE CONCEPTS of religions(all over the world), the history of religions, how some religions(began with CULTS/BELIEFS) evolved, the teachings of the religion(the origin) ... to the preaching of our pastors(or whoever in charge) ... GET YOURSELF EDUCATED about the religion you are woorshipping, please. For GOD's sake.
I was there 10 minutes earlier(as usual, I dont go to work late, I dont go for classes late, a function that I WANTED to go late ...etc) ... less than 10% of the seats taken. I started with my personal prayers(relationship with GOD) ... and proceed to see what in store for this morning. Then, I read LUKE 1-13 as that will be our "topic" that the pastor will preach about. I re-read it to anticipate what the pastor going to say ... and imagining the application of the wordings in my LIFE!!
Next, when the worshipping starts, it takes sometime to blend into the music. BTW, I love music, just in case you don't know what MUSIC is all about. Praising LORD through music&songs is the best combination!! GOD created music for reasons, ok?
Well, I enjoyed myself, as always(in almost everything I do, anyway) ... I fully agreed with what is being shared today : PRAYERS are relationship with GOD. Morning .. I hv not blog for a while, as I m taking a break from this blog. I need to shut-off my emotions in MY OWN BLOG(I can't even CURSE as some f**king as*h*oles reading OTHERS blogs and get offended!! Unbelievable freedoom of expression in MALAYSIA! Haha).
So, since I could place my thoughts GENUINELY, there is not much of points to blog. This is OUR society ... backward and as I always put it ... UN-EDUCATED graduates!!
Look into Perak ... many may not feel strongly about it, but as I have followed Malaysian Politics for 15yrs now, I feel sad .. I feel frustrated ... and I feel ashamed to be MALAYSIAN. We are in REAL mess of governance ... from the running of the banks too running of our country. TOO many UN-EDUCATED people running the show, and they happy GAIN(SUCKERS) from the naive and STUPID public. Wake up, MALAYSIAN. We are REALLY PATHETIC.
MONEY ... money can buy frogs, and some moronic monkeys in the house. MONEY being the ultimate motives in ALMOST everything they do.
Cheering Competition
Ghee ... I enjoyed the competition so much, and I admired the coordinations done by the respective houses. We have Blue(Blue Rangers), Red(Red Indians), Pink(Mr Patrick of Spongebob) and Green(The Snake). They even have mascots!! Wow!! Hehe ... you could enjoy MUCH more if you know the songs they were singing(like me!! Hehe). Anyway, when you grow OLD, most lecturers NOT there to watch such an incredible show put up by our creative students. What a pity!
Tug-of-war ... under the rain, a silly me will be enjoying myself watching my students(the tough and rough ones) tugging away while their friends cheering for them. This is EDUCATION, man. I saw a 'good' girl splashing muds to her friends!! Haha ... funny, most ADULTS dont enjoy what they ENJOYED during their younger days? Nope, I m NOT going to enlighten them about motivation, living blah blah ... they are CANT handle the pressure the society placing on them.
Don't expect them to jump into the river, half--naked into cold water to ENJOY the nature, ok? Even some MIGHT have sllightly of "young mood", they will surely kill off their YOUNG spirits, in the name of PRIDE. What?? Me?? A lecturer jumping like a monkey into river-water? No students around? No way ... I have my PRIDE. I m NOT going to enjoy myself ... err ... I will prefer to entertain myself with ASTRO(channel 333 recommended as it is Hua-Hee Dai = Happiness channel, you might find your happiness there watching divorces, suicides .. u name it, they have it. Haha).
Anyway, in general ... not many enjoying my 'youth' like I do. Sometimes someone could said I m CHILDISH(I can't hear you ... what do u say again?). It is inferior-complexity in them. They failed to get EDUCATION as they are busy chasing paper-qualifications, HIGHER positions in their companies and of coz more MONEY? Talk to me about MONEY, I might help you to EARN a lot ... but with your pathetic DEGREES and UN-educated mind, I refuse to lower myself. Perhaps, I could suggest ... jump into the river, will ya?

Mindset about MONEY
OK : I m going to re-phrase what my doc-friend(call him JL) ask a good surprising question. Teh, I have a ONE MILLION DOLLAR question for you.
What does it takes to be as knowledgable and as good as you are now?
*(I need to remind others and my friend JL that I m ONLY one year in KLSE and with only 20% knowledge, so ... I m NOT good at all in my trading/investment. Please understand that a ONE YEAR experience doctor, lecturer, engineer or what-so-ever could NOT claim they are good and experienced, right?? You work in an accounting firm as Financial Consultant for a year(with degree in Finance Management), will you be able to advise large companies on their financial prospects? THINK!!)*
I thought about it for a while, trying to recall what I have done to be where I m now. There were simply too many pointers and over-helming if I need to list out things I have done RIGHT or MISTAKES I have erred. Then, I concluded that the answer should be MINDSET.
Your MINDSET determines your success in almost everything you do, particularly things related to USING BRAIN. Many things we are doing we need to use of BRAIN. The ways you see things are VERY IMPORTANT as that is your MENTALITY. You may be smart enough to KNOW it, or otherwise ... you may want to remain being 'dumb' refusing to KNOW yourself.
Wrestling in WWF is NOT one of them. That is one of the brainless "entertainers" flexing muscles, and of coz we have many ridiculously stupid human watching it for hours(even to BUY its DVD), enjoying the violence in front of their kids!! The one earning MONEY is the man behind the management who exploits the stupidity of the whole society. That is HUGE business they are dealing with here. To add to the "fun", they will get those sexily clad females to talk rough, talk dirty and of coz showing their "assets". Human, particularly MALE love these. Simple MONEY making concepts : Exploit on the weakness of general male. They fantasizing of huge muscles(and they thought female loves muscles!!), lean body, ability to WHACK someone with their fists or kick-ass. They will be IMAGINING themselves doing stuff that beyond themselves in reality, and REALITY is painful ... hence, this is just ONE of the many of their escapade venues.
MINDSET about MONEY. How do you view MONEY is VERY important in trading/investing as we are dealing with MONEY. Every click of the mouse, I m transferring MONEY, buy or sell to someone. Demand/Supply took place and the one with stronger, yet right MINDSET shall prevail. This the MOST essential FIRST step if you ever think of benefitting from your investment. HOW far you could open your narrowed-mind(due to years of brain-washing from your surrounding people), the journey is in your control.
Say, you are those FEW smart ones(like JL) who understand this SIMPLE yet powerful money-welcoming concept, then you will have a head-start compared to MANY MANY(80% of our society) who still struggling internally regarding MONEY.
Therefore, CHANGE the way you see about money, and the WEALTH will be with you!! Am I guaranteeing you that?? Nope ... loooong way to go, but that is the FIRST STEP, in my opinion. Placing a good and right foundations are my KEY of learning and educating myself. No point you speak about Bollinger Bands(for those TA) or what EPS/PE/NTA values mean(for those FA) when you can't even UNDERSTAND you must MASTER your own mindset ... and taking advantage of the HERD MENTALITY.
Herd Mentality
This is again and again being said BUT human habits are hard to break. We have our new year resolutions at the beginning of the year(and done that YEARLY) but HOW many % of those with NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS really follow through certain % of their OWN resolutions. You may see in as GOALS.
"Herd" = Majority.
As I have pointed out that 80% of them are losing MONEY in markets, WHY would you be just one of them? IT DOESNT make any sense to me, but I recognised that MAJORITY will NOT make sense when it comes to MONEY. MONEY is a TABOO issue NOT to be known by others!! Not even your salary or income should be known by anyone, including your spouses!! WOW!! Also, MONEY that we spend ... many of the "HERDS" like to BUY things they ill-afford to SHOW OFF. WOW!! Amazing, isnt it?
MONEY is really EMOTIONALLY attached to all of us ... that we follow the HERDS without questioning!! If we do question about the "LOGIC", we will be seen as STUPID, WEIRDO ... all sort of names I could 'feel' people brand others for NOT being in the HERD. haha ...
I should know better as I defied human stupidity, but in return I m branded as STUPID. Haha. To me, it is a great joke and contradiction. I seems to always AGAINST the HERD in almost anything I do, as I m strong enough to accept their ignorance or lack of understanding of things they do, especially relating to MONEY. I should know too as I was one of them!!
Yes, in conclusion ... we do NOT think logically when it comes to money on how the money moves, how we could earn more by reducing our expenses and how we use our savings to INVEST intelligently. It is wealth accumulation ... then, we still have to educate ourselves about wealth management.
Incredible ... we are graduates, but we are NEVER being taught such basic concepts of personal finance. An economy lecturer could speak to you about other country demand-supply or economy situations, but fail in "micro-economy" in their own personal sense.
See it this way ... your whole family is MACRO and you individually is MICRO. Then, the economic lecturer will be considered as SMART enough to apply what he/she has been preaching to ALL his/her students. Is making money Science or Arts? Neither. It is BOTH, in my opinion.Are you still with me? I m answering him ONE MILLION DOLLAR question. You may NOT trust me, but I believe he is convinced that right investing MINDSET is the initial step. We have not even speak about profitting from markets. This is an advantage but not huge over others. Believe me that my idol Buffett might not has the highest of IQ but smartest(so far la) person in investing successfully for decades!!
EQ : This is related to your EMOTIONS. You can't say you DO NOT have emotions towards money. It could be obsession(greed), love and hate, fear of its evil roots ... MONEY will make us VERY emotional. I have "trained" myself to be immuned of money since I was in Uni year.During 97/98 crisis, many lost A LOT of money in KLSE. Many contemplating taking their lives as they feel that they lost 'everything'. Note that it is currently happening in MANY countries, particularly in China or those involved in Mad-off Ponzi scheme. Or in any GET-RICH scheme. WHY such a scheme could go far and making its "investors" BELIEVE they could get-rich-fast? WHO won't want to get RICH, real RICH FAST? Fast track your fiinancial brain? Don't you think so it VERY much involving EMOTIONS here? So, are you good in controlling your emotion when it comes MONEY? Your EQ becoming very crucial when it comes to taking control of our emotion. Being in CONTROL is VERY crucial when we make decision in our trading and/or investing decisions. When to BUY what ... and WHY?I m seeing the dive in markets as HUGE crisis-opportunities for anyone who know-how to take advantage on the situation. So, I m EMOTIONALLY charged ... excite by some economic news, listening to the flow of news ... but I m NOT sitting here blogging without have the control of my emotions. I have mixed feeling about the whole global economic situations, actually. While I know I could be in-FOCUS about my plans and get too excited about it, I m also feeling "pitiful" as I could NOT share with so many around me about this opportunities!! I could only TRY to convince them that all these "bad" years 2008-2010 will be my BEST years in my wealth accumulation stage. How I wish they will listen. Well, at least my friend JL starts to listen ... and sharing my 'experiences', and seeing HUGE opportunities ahead of us ... we share THE SAME THING --- a goal to be financially free.Perhaps I could start to charge tuition fees from my readers? haha. No free lunches, remember? In 3 or 4 years time, YES ... I will charge those come to me for knowledge, once I establish myself ... and proven that my hard-work really works? Do you think so? Hmm .... FQ : With IQ + EQ, we need to increase our knowledge about MONEY. That will be FQ. YES, our EDUCATION system teaching us to be EMPLOYEES. Do read "Rich dad, Poor dad". That was one of my first MONEY-related book. It did not write about MONEY, actually but enlightening us about our EDUCATION system where we could never free ourselves FINANCIALLY ... and retire young IF we wanted to. We will be so-called stuck in our job routines and most of us DENYING that we work for survival ... or for the salary!! You may be a highly-paid manager or a simple lecturer like me. We still depends on our salary to keep-up with our lifestyle, agree?In order for us to be better-off than our colleagues or people surrounding us financially, we need to INCREASE our FQ. This is NOT in-born. IQ might be(but can be increased too) and EQ could be developed. FQ could be cultivated and re-learn ... take me as an example!! Hehe ...So, we need to have at least certain level of IQ, maturing to increase our EQ and we should look into to increase our FQ. I wish all the best ... and since I m giving "tuition" to JL, I will write about what I m sharing with him(only to certain extent as it will be too lengthy and boring for punters brain!! Haha).I shared with him my 5-year plan just now. This is the first time I shared with anyone at all. NOt even my wife know about my plans. WHY? Because my surrounding people are "normal" IQ with NOT strong EQ and quite a low FQ. It is not really possible to share with them.

MONEY is really EMOTIONALLY attached to all of us ... that we follow the HERDS without questioning!! If we do question about the "LOGIC", we will be seen as STUPID, WEIRDO ... all sort of names I could 'feel' people brand others for NOT being in the HERD. haha ...
I should know better as I defied human stupidity, but in return I m branded as STUPID. Haha. To me, it is a great joke and contradiction. I seems to always AGAINST the HERD in almost anything I do, as I m strong enough to accept their ignorance or lack of understanding of things they do, especially relating to MONEY. I should know too as I was one of them!!
Yes, in conclusion ... we do NOT think logically when it comes to money on how the money moves, how we could earn more by reducing our expenses and how we use our savings to INVEST intelligently. It is wealth accumulation ... then, we still have to educate ourselves about wealth management.
Incredible ... we are graduates, but we are NEVER being taught such basic concepts of personal finance. An economy lecturer could speak to you about other country demand-supply or economy situations, but fail in "micro-economy" in their own personal sense.
See it this way ... your whole family is MACRO and you individually is MICRO. Then, the economic lecturer will be considered as SMART enough to apply what he/she has been preaching to ALL his/her students. Is making money Science or Arts? Neither. It is BOTH, in my opinion.Are you still with me? I m answering him ONE MILLION DOLLAR question. You may NOT trust me, but I believe he is convinced that right investing MINDSET is the initial step. We have not even speak about profitting from markets. This is an advantage but not huge over others. Believe me that my idol Buffett might not has the highest of IQ but smartest(so far la) person in investing successfully for decades!!
EQ : This is related to your EMOTIONS. You can't say you DO NOT have emotions towards money. It could be obsession(greed), love and hate, fear of its evil roots ... MONEY will make us VERY emotional. I have "trained" myself to be immuned of money since I was in Uni year.During 97/98 crisis, many lost A LOT of money in KLSE. Many contemplating taking their lives as they feel that they lost 'everything'. Note that it is currently happening in MANY countries, particularly in China or those involved in Mad-off Ponzi scheme. Or in any GET-RICH scheme. WHY such a scheme could go far and making its "investors" BELIEVE they could get-rich-fast? WHO won't want to get RICH, real RICH FAST? Fast track your fiinancial brain? Don't you think so it VERY much involving EMOTIONS here? So, are you good in controlling your emotion when it comes MONEY? Your EQ becoming very crucial when it comes to taking control of our emotion. Being in CONTROL is VERY crucial when we make decision in our trading and/or investing decisions. When to BUY what ... and WHY?I m seeing the dive in markets as HUGE crisis-opportunities for anyone who know-how to take advantage on the situation. So, I m EMOTIONALLY charged ... excite by some economic news, listening to the flow of news ... but I m NOT sitting here blogging without have the control of my emotions. I have mixed feeling about the whole global economic situations, actually. While I know I could be in-FOCUS about my plans and get too excited about it, I m also feeling "pitiful" as I could NOT share with so many around me about this opportunities!! I could only TRY to convince them that all these "bad" years 2008-2010 will be my BEST years in my wealth accumulation stage. How I wish they will listen. Well, at least my friend JL starts to listen ... and sharing my 'experiences', and seeing HUGE opportunities ahead of us ... we share THE SAME THING --- a goal to be financially free.Perhaps I could start to charge tuition fees from my readers? haha. No free lunches, remember? In 3 or 4 years time, YES ... I will charge those come to me for knowledge, once I establish myself ... and proven that my hard-work really works? Do you think so? Hmm .... I don't know but I will continue to listen to those know-how and learn ...
FQ : With IQ + EQ, we need to increase our knowledge about MONEY. That will be FQ. YES, our EDUCATION system teaching us to be EMPLOYEES. Do read "Rich dad, Poor dad". That was one of my first MONEY-related book. It did not write about MONEY, actually but enlightening us about our EDUCATION system where we could never free ourselves FINANCIALLY ... and retire young IF we wanted to. We will be so-called stuck in our job routines and most of us DENYING that we work for survival ... or for the salary!! You may be a highly-paid manager or a simple lecturer like me. We still depends on our salary to keep-up with our lifestyle, agree?In order for us to be better-off than our colleagues or people surrounding us financially, we need to INCREASE our FQ. This is NOT in-born. IQ might be(but can be increased too) and EQ could be developed. FQ could be cultivated and re-learn ... take me as an example!! Hehe ...So, we need to have at least certain level of IQ, maturing to increase our EQ and we should look into to increase our FQ. I wish all the best ... and since I m giving "tuition" to JL, I will write about what I m sharing with him(only to certain extent as it will be too lengthy and boring for punters brain!! Haha).I shared with him my 5-year plan just now. This is the first time I shared with anyone at all. NOt even my wife know about my plans. WHY? Because my surrounding people are "normal" IQ with NOT strong EQ and quite a low FQ. It is not really possible to share with them.

Year 1 : Change mindset. Earn as much as capitals. Learn to trade/invest KLSE.
Year 2 : Trade in foreign markets. Learn put/call options. Invest in US.
Year 3 : Look into to BUY property and learn to invest.
Year 4 : Wealth Management.
Year 5 : Teach 'investing' concepts. Have my own training center.

The next debate will be at 15th Feb. Malaysia, as an Islamic country might be seen as 'extremist' too by the West. We are not. We are multi-racial peaceful country. We, the non-Islam do have many Muslim friends. We share many similar ideologies tho we may be very difficult in our religious beliefs.
I do hope more of our so-called educated non-Muslims graduates WILL read to understand more on what is going on in Israel and Palestine ... the Gaza strip.
Non sane educated CHINESE will be wanted to be educated about the political and religion struggles in Middle-East. What do I get from knowing of such knowledge? Nothing much to do about $$$ or career advancements, of coz. But ... it is purely for the thrist of KNOWLEDGE and a wish to be more educated ...
A student of mine wanting to collect some donations for the Palestinians. God bless him. Gaza ceasefire. Children are going back to schools, finally.

Mag, my wife

Thinking Allowed?
Morning ... I was a big-fan of Aliran. I don't miss an issue and in fact get myself politically involved(1994-1998) with many of ISSUES related to our government and with NGOs. Anyway, there was a column "Thinking Allowed" in the 'magazine' where it excites me.
You see, being a THINKING human and concern about the 'stupidity' surrounds me, this is a place where I could share with many intellectuals about ideas or thoughts where we could voice-out our opinions about ISSUES intellectually. And we will discussed how we could contribute for the betterment of situations, as the whole.
After a year of being a contributor to that segment, I was so glad that they organised a gathering for those like-minded to have an INTELLECTUAL discourse. I travelled to Penang(Aliran HQ is in Penang) and met about 30-50 professionals with similar interests and brain-waves. Few still in-touch with me and I appreciate such a human, articulate and determine. Unfortunately, these individuals are rare species in this modernised and materialistic(capitalism) world.
NGOs --- there were not too many of them 15 yrs ago, and only a few very active ones. Some are international-based organisations.

AIDS was 'introduced' to our ignorant public ... when generally public will think of AIDS as a terminally-illed diease(only half correct, actually). So, public will shun those with 'AIDS'. In fact, to the extent that this 'patients' being isolated from public. We are talking about those with degrees or higher, ok? Thinking allowed?
If they are educated ENOUGH, they will certainly try to find out more about it, rather than merely talking about it over tea-time. And talking about it will NOT make the situation any better. We need to EDUCATE our public. See?
This is a HUGE challenge as we have recognised that our naive Malaysia society are un-educated in many aspects. Not until ONE of their friends or loved ones 'contracted' with the diease, they will still be talking about it as a casual usual conversation. These I called NOISES. Empty vessels make the most noise.
If you ask them about WHAT they have contributed, they might brush you off to cover their in-adequencies. Afterall, they are a DEGREE holder without KNOWLEDGE about what they are speaking about --- AIDS. Some even confuse between AIDS and HIV. Marina Mahathir ... heard of her, right? She is fighting for this good cause even when AIDS was not widely spread in Malaysia. The statistic has increased since then, of course.
To clear another un-informed information to our naive public, MOST of the AIDS patients are drug-abusers, NOT only through any sexual activities. Gayism not heard of 20-years ago. Yet, the stats surely didn't take into account of those unreported cases. Tell me ... HOW will you educate our public about ... say, AIDS?
If thinking are NOT allowed, Pink Triangle(then, forming of AIDS council) could not sustain their GOOD cause. Of coz Marina, being PM daughter, is a very strong lady. One of the respectable Malaysian for her sacrifices to see her vision carried out. Shaking hands with her during a PM's Raya open house will NOT be sufficiently enough to boast that you know her strengths. I will recommend our WOMEN to model her PASSION. Hats-off, Marina. Knowing you have let me see a woman's strength, in the male-dominated world. As you are as critical, yet humble tho your dad are the most prominent leader in our Malaysia history.

Taking a break
Dear readers,
For those feel offended with my blog, I will sincerely apologise if I have unintentionally hurt anyone.
Personal blogs are MEANT for personal views only. It will be my advice to those NOT open-minded people around NOT to view anyone's blog as you could be easily offended. Besides, you do not benefit anything from reading blogs, anyway. Just my friendly advice, ok?
Hence, I will no longer interested to share my opinions and migrating to somewhere that I could find peace with myself.
